SocialBase FAQs
How often does AdBase sync my accounts?
AdBase pulls performance metrics every 1–2 hours. Bulk exports may take a few extra minutes.
Why am I hitting “quota exceeded” errors?
See our Post Creation guide for image, video, carousel, reel, and poll limits plus recommended dimensions per network.
Can I manage Shopping or Video campaigns?
Not yet—AdBase currently supports only Search and Display campaign types until Google adds Shopping/Video endpoints.
What happens if an automation rule and Google’s bidding conflict?
AdBase automations (pausing or bid adjustments) run on your schedule, potentially overriding Google’s optimized bidding—so use automations sparingly for budget or pause rules, and let Google handle bid strategies where possible.
How many campaigns/ad groups/ads can I manage?
As many as your Google Ads account allows—AdBase has no hard limits beyond API quotas.
Where can I see which automations have run?
The Active Automations table on the Campaigns page shows every rule that ran, its frequency, and outcome.
How do saved keyword groups work?
In the Keywords page, click Saved Keywords to view, rename, delete, or import entire groups into any campaign or ad group.
My new automation rule isn’t pausing campaigns—what’s going on?
Automations run on the schedule you set (e.g. daily at midnight), so changes won’t occur until the next check. Also remember only one bulk rule can exist per level (Campaign/Ad Group/Ad), and creating a new bulk rule will override the old one. Finally, if you’ve used OR logic, only one of your conditions needs to be true—switch to AND if you want all conditions met before the rule fires.
How do I reconnect a social account if authorization expires?
Go to Connect Accounts, find the expired connection, click Reconnect, and reauthorize the app.
I changed my campaign’s budget and end date—when do those updates take effect?
Budget changes apply immediately to your live campaign, so you may see a shift in daily spend right away. End-date edits take effect at midnight UTC on the specified day. Neither change retroactively alters past spend or performance data—your historical metrics remain intact for reporting.
